The drink is named after the bride or groom. For instance, a martini style signature drink for a bride named Lisa would be renamed a ‘Lisatini’.
Oftentimes, a bride and groom will feature their signature drink in their wedding invitation. We had a couple with the last name of Byrd that were having a reception on the beach make two signature drinks—one called the ‘BlueByrd’ for her and another called the ‘BeachByrd’for him. These tasty signature drinks were announced along with their wedding on their invite. It was a way to add a little fun to their special day.
